The Video Game Academy is an initiative by the Ministry of Economic Development and Production, through the General Directorate of Youth Policies (BA Joven), encompassing all aspects of video games, from the entertainment industry and development to gaming tournaments and good habits.

The first part of the program consists of a Game Jam, a gathering of developers with the purpose of creating a video game within a span of only five days. During this stage, participants will have the opportunity to consult with different specialists to carry out their project.

In addition, the winning teams will have the opportunity to present their developments to thousands of young people at Gamergy, an event where the main video game developers and players from all over the country gather.
